Apart from the design and integrity of the test chamber; one of the most critical parts of the semiconductor device’s testing and qualification processes, is the provision of the ‘test interface hardware’.

The interface hardware needs to be of the highest performance capability, providing consistent and repeatable test results, with the ability to withstand stringent environmental test conditions including; operating temperatures to +300ºC and Relative Humidity to 95%.

Reltech Limited has developed a high level of expertise for the design of test interface hardware for both its own and other manufacturers test systems, including; Aehr, Rel Inc, Delta V, Wakefield, Ando, Sharetree, Criteria & Motay.

A quarter of a century’s experience and the latest CAD/CAM software, provides innovative and ingenious solutions to the most difficult of design challenges; Designs include the most up-to-date test socket configurations within multilayer PCB’s for fine pitch devices and test sockets to 0.4mm pitch.

Test Socket design configurations include QFN, QFP, TQFP, PQFP, SOP, TSOP, SSOP, BGA, µBGA, CSP, (Chip Scale Package), PLCC, LCC.
